Jo I’m an artist. Not a cook. I am a senior with health issues and a brain injury. My grandmother taught me to cook with a pressure cooker and I have a few favorites I’ve made for years. My daughter bought me an instapot hoping to make things easier on me. Your ribs looked especially good. Trying new things often disappoints but these were not only delicious your directions were detailed and failproof! Going to recommend to my daughters who are much better cooks! Looking forward to trying more of your redipes.

Made Joanna’s baby back ribs for our house party. Everyone commented on how delicious they were…..the best ribs they ever had. The best ribs I ever had. Thank you my Love…

I have been on Jo Cooks email list for about 300 recipes. I do not always cook the downloaded recipe that day, but I always save them to use as the mood strikes me. I have not cooked this recipe (BBQ Ribs) yet, but I did review the main parts. This recipe has to be used, as it looks so tasteful. I did drink half of the required whisky while studying the the finer points… I used Canadian whisky, and it was good!

OMG this was so good! I didn’t have whiskey so replaced with rum; but followed all other ingredients exactly. The ribs were fall apart tender and so flavorful. I am still discovering great recipes like this one which can be made in the instant pot with less time and work involved.

In reply to Ther. You can use rum, brandy or cognac, or if you don't want any alcohol you can skip it.
